Who is lianne la havas ex boyfriend

It was sparked by a FaceTime conversation she had with a different boyfriend then new, now ex. And that basically happened on FaceTime.

There are certain types of people that tend to keep their pain to themselves and try to defuse it with something else, like humour. La Havas has her legs crossed. She pulls at grass stalks. She wants to talk and as she does, it becomes clear that, actually, this album has been hard-won. But life got in the way. When it got to , she was still travelling, still promoting Blood. There was another factor, too. Her boyfriend, the LA FaceTime one, was also in the music business, and she found that, after a while, they were competing with each other.

But it was not to be. She and her boyfriend burned each other out. It was here that she found the time and space to make Lianne La Havas. This album was made by me and my friends. To , her disaster year. To BritsSoWhite. What happened? And also that so many people assumed what I would think, because of my race. I thought that I was saying something that included people and that was nicer to say.

I wanted to be inclusive of everyone. But because I said something different to the general majority, I experienced so much hate from that majority. I absolutely understand. Lianne La Havas for Rollacoaster Recommended Taylor Swift. Earlier that week my friend had simulated having sex with it. I was like, Okay.

My friend happened to be there with his camera and so I thought because the gig was that day, that should be the cover. They make interesting music; they want to challenge people. That was one of my favourite songs off their album. I heard that you were up for a starring role in a big BBC drama. What happened with that?

I got to the final three girls or something and I feel really grateful that I got that far. It was a TV drama about a s jazz band, the first black jazz band in the UK. I would have played the lead singer of the band. I should have got them to make a plaque!

La Havas was speaking as she released a short film about the influential producer John Hammond — and her own rise to fame — for a campaign by Guinness. She has recently visited Los Angeles for the Grammys, where her record Blood was nominated for best urban contemporary album. Now she is focusing on writing material for her third album, which may have a more political tone than her first two.

Then I will be looking to get into the studio later this year. I feel like inspiration always comes from the world around you.
